At IDnow, we are dedicated to making the connected world a safer and more secure place. In 2012, two French visionaries founded ARIADNEXT in Rennes, France. From the start, they collaborated closely with the French government on various identity fraud prevention projects, including IDNum, FranceConnect, Alicem, and France Identité. This rich heritage has laid the foundation for our commitment to identity security. Now under the IDnow umbrella, YRIS enables seamless reuse of verified digital identity credentials, allowing users to prove their identity easily and securely without the need to rescan physical IDs or retake selfies for accessing new services. YRIS delivers a substantial level of assurance (LOA) for digital identities, as defined by the eIDAS regulation and certified by the Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d’information (ANSSI). Our new substantial LOA ensures face-to-face equivalent identity assurance, meeting the stringent requirements of the ANSSI PVID reference framework and the ETSI TS 119 461 standard. our new substantial assurance means face to face and then access – simplify. This certification marks a significant milestone in our mission to support Europe’s ambition to create and offer a single, reliable, and secure digital identity for its citizens and residents.
